Dr. Philipp Herrmann
Dr. Philipp Herrmann was born in Hamburg in 1968. He has been attorney at law since 1997 and is also Certified Tax Lawyer (Fachanwalt für Steuerrecht).
Dr. Philipp Herrmann passed his first state examination in law in 1994 after his studies at the University of Hamburg. His doctoral thesis "Güterfernverkehr im Binnenmarkt und Umweltschutz" ("Long Distance Transportation of Goods in the Common Market and Environmental Protection") was published in 2000 (publishing house: Nomos, public series "Forum Umweltrecht"). Several of his articles were published in "Forum Umweltrecht", for example his report about the problems and prospects of the transportation of goods by rail in Germany and Europe (H.-J. Koch, publisher, "Rechtliche Instrumente einer dauerhaft umweltgerechten Verkehrspolitik", 2000). He is also a co-author of the handbook "Umweltrecht" ("Environmental Law", issued by H.-J. Koch, 1st edition Luchterhand Verlag 2002, 2nd edition Carl Heymanns Verlag 2007), and author of "IT-Security" (in: Handbook IT Law, Hamburg@work e.V., 2006). Dr. Philipp Herrmann has been a partner of HEISSNER & STRUCK since the beginning of 1999.
